OUR MODEL
Trinity Classical Academy provides a hybrid model of education that includes classical tutoring and enrichment to homeschool families in South Hampton Roads. At TCA, we understand that through His ordered creation, commandments, and mandates, God gives parents the ultimate authority over their child’s education. Through our curriculum selection and academic services, we seek to empower parents to embrace this authority and at the same time, celebrate and utilize the communion of saints that the Holy Trinity has called to disciple and strengthen His church. Our model is designed to provide flexibility and freedom so that parents can home educate in a way that fits their schedules. More importantly though, our model inculcates the good, the true, and the beautiful into students, parents, and tutors alike, allowing for each member of this pedagogical triangle to flourish and grow in the knowledge of their restored humanity through the work of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The “a la carte” services and course work listed below allow parents to assess where they desire focused instruction or classical enrichment for their children during the week. By using our tutors, families will come into a community with classically trained educators who can help them navigate the curriculum, but more importantly, who foster relationships and community to strengthen the body of the Christ and to form the holistic nature of each child.
