OUR CREST

Trinity Classical Academy’s crest reminds us of our God-given teleology to direct our hearts, minds, and souls to the will of the three persons of the Trinity. Through the gift of faith, we embrace education and discipleship to align our affections, desires, and intellect to that which is good, true, and beautiful, allowing staff and students alike to practice the Christian virtue which is essential to our restored humanity and on-going sanctification. In the tradition of the Christian church, our colors remind us of the following: The blue represents our baptismal waters through which the Trinity adopted us into God’s family; the green depicts our new life through Christ’s sacrifice on the cross; and the gold remind us of His majesty and reign over the universe. The symbology of our crest depicts the Seven Cardinal Virtues with the cross of Jesus centrally mounted as the fount from which all virtue flows. Each symbol captures the rich and beautiful Christian tradition of the Western world, and more, importantly, points us to the absolute truth of Scripture.
FAITH
The Cross & The Shepherd's Staff
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. – Ephesians 2:8-10
HOPE
The Anchor
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. – Psalm 124:8
CHARITY & LOVE
The Sacred Heart
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” – Matthew 22:37-40
JUSTICE
The Sword
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” – Romans 12:19
FORTITUDE
The Lion

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control – 2 Timothy 1:7
TEMPERANCE
The Wine Decanter
For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control – 2 Peter 1:5-6
PRUDENCE
The Dragon
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. – James 1:19-20
